Scoil Chróine Bookfair 2026
Scoil Chróine will be running a book fair from Scholastic next week, Monday the 11th – Thursday the 14th of May. Several bookcases full of books for all ages will arrive in our school’s hall next week, ready to be browsed by our students.
This book fair is a fantastic opportunity for our students to browse through hundreds of books of different genres and to choose which ones they might like to purchase for themselves. It is also a fantastic opportunity for our school to add more books to our own libraries, as with every €10 you spend on books for your child, we will receive €6 from Scholastic to spend on books for the school.
During last year’s book fair, you purchased over €2500 worth of books and we received €1500 of this money to spend on books for the school. We used this money to restock our class libraries and purchase sets of class novels.
As an added bonus, Scholastic are offering a deal of 3 for the price of 2 on all books (Cheapest one is free)
Option 1:
We are giving parents the opportunity to drop into the school from 1:45pm – 3pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week, to view and purchase books directly from the cases. There will be an option to pay with cash or pay online for the books you choose.

Once you have paid for your books, mark their titles and the transaction code on the Wish List sheet and return to the class teacher before Thursday the 14th of May. The books will then be given to your child.
