Scoil Chróine Bookfair 2025
We are delighted to announce that Scoil Chróine will be running a book fair from Scholastic next week. Several bookcases full of books for all ages will arrive in our school’s hall this week, ready to be viewed by our students.
This book fair is a fantastic opportunity for our students to browse through hundreds of books of different genres and to choose which ones they might like to purchase for themselves. It is also a fantastic opportunity for our school to add more books to our own libraries, as with every €10 you spend on books for your child, we will receive €6 from Scholastic to spend on books for the school.
During last year’s book fair, you purchased €3225 worth of books and we received €1935 of this money to spend on books for the school. We used this money to restock our class libraries.
We are giving parents the opportunity to drop into the school from 1:45pm – 3pm on Tuesday the 6th & Wednesday the 7th of May, to view and purchase books directly from the cases. There will be an option to pay with cash or pay online for the books you choose.
There is also an option to browse the selection of books online at https://bookfairs.scholastic.ie/bookcases
and pay for them online.
As an added bonus, Scholastic are offering a deal of 3 for the price of 2 on all books (Cheapest one is free)
How to order & pay for your books:
- Check the School’s Facebook page, Website or Aladdin to view a link to the list of books which are available to purchase during the book fair.
- Once you have chosen your books, mark their titles and cost onto the order sheet which is attached and payment can be made using the link to the school’s online payment system at https://bookfairs.scholastic.ie/pay/1401769
- Once payment is made, you will receive a transaction code to mark onto your order form, which you then return to the class teacher by Thursday the 8th of May
- We will send the book orders off to Scholastic after the fair and they will then be posted to the school.
