Scolastic Book Fair 2024
Scoil Chróine will run a book fair from Scholastic Book Company next week, 15th – 18th April.
This book fair is a fantastic opportunity for the kids to select and purchase books, but it is also an opportunity for the school to add to our own class libraries.
Last year we had an extremely successful book fair where you purchased over €3000 worth of books. As a reward for hosting the book fair, Scholastic gave over €1800 credit to the school to purchase books for our class libraries.
This year we are giving parents the opportunity to drop into the school from 1:45pm – 2:45pm on Tuesday the 16th & Wednesday the 17th, to view and purchase books directly from the cases. There will be an option to pay with cash or pay online for the books you choose.
There is a ‘3 for 2’ offer on all books during the book fair. Cheapest book is free of charge
Alternatively, there is also the option to browse the selection of books online at https://bookfairs.scholastic.ie/bookcases and to fill in the titles of the books you would like to purchase on our Wish List sheets.
A ‘WISH LIST’ order form will be sent home with your child this Monday the 15th, and they can write down the FULL TITLE and COST of the book/books they would like to purchase.. Wish List 2024
Once you have selected your books, they can be paid for via the online payment link https://bookfairs.scholastic.ie/pay/1299107
When payment is made, you will receive a transaction code to mark onto your order form, which you then return to the class teacher before Thursday the 18th of April.
We will then send the book orders off to Scholastic after the fair and they will then be posted to the school.
